Hotaru is Sailor Saturn .She is one of the most powerful of the senshi.She has possession of the silent glaive which is extremely powerful. She is the last senshi to show up in sailormoon s.Chibiusa finds her first.Hotaru meets chibiusa in a park when she is injured,and hotaru covers the injured area with her hand and chibiusa is healed.Rini is amazed at her new friends talent,and is also glad she made a new friend.Hotaru lives in a huge mansion with her father(professor)who is extremely busy.There was an explosion in the professors lab and they were almost killed.But her father made a deal with phantom90(the evil that will destroy the earth)..in which he now becomes evil and possessed and he is driven to make daemons who look for pure hearts that will form the three talismans..in which will allow the mistress9(saturns evil side) to destroy the world.Saturn becomes evil because of her dad's deal with the phantom.Uranus,neptune and pluto are also on a mission to find saturn because they know what she represents...they know that she can end the world.But sailormoon does'nt let them kill her.Sailormoon does and did everything she could to keep saturn alive.The outer senshi are after saturn because when saturn is fully awakened she is destined to destroy the earth.That is her power...death.Death to the world~_~Somehow in the end of sailormoon S,sailormoon is able to save saturn.Saturn dies but is reborn as an innocent baby to start over.But as usual the show must go on.in sailorstars,the outer senshi go find the baby Hotaru so that she can return to her Sailor Saturn form,Because the earth is threatened by a new evil and they need her.They find her and she grows up very very fast...within days and returns as saturn once again.Saturn has got to be the most powerful senshi in the universe Her power'the silence wall' makes a forcefield of energy that protects her from all attacks when she says'death ribbon revolution' and hits the ground with it....the world is completely destroyed...and so is she.Her soul purpose as a senshi is that she brings death to all.Her powers have alot to do with death and rebirth.She is so powerful...it's scary! very strange but she is very nice,although she keeps to herself and she is chibiusa's best friend.She has healing powers never imagined.
