Digital video recorders come in many flavors these days. Several
variations and screen resolutions are available. Compression and screen
resolution should be of paramount importance to you. This model is full
JPEG and offers the best video quality but does not afford tight
compression. I.E., JPEG is the best video but requires more drive space to
store video. H.263, MPEG2, Wavelet and many others offer more
compression but at a price in video quality. Some of those units in fact
record at such poor quality, prosecution is simply impossible. Our new
DVMR will impress you.

Offering loop-through bnc connections for all four inputs. Notice the
ethernet connection, high speed remote viewing made easy. Simply
assign an IP address in the system setup and view your video live. You
can view pre-recorded video or the live video from any PC with an internet
connection.

Simply use your existing DSL or ADSL connection. The remote
viewing software is included in your purchase. Loads in 20
seconds. Security First. After installing the software, simply setup
your own security password and username to avoid unauthorized
viewing.

Covert Feature:
This unit features the ability to "conceal" a camera from the
monitor. You can "conceal" one or all four cameras from the main
monitor while still maintaining the ability to record or view
remotely. Very useful for those customers that have areas under
surveillance where they have a desire for the employees not to
know a camera is watching/recording.

Motion Detect:
Advanced motion detection. You can set each camera
individually or all four for motion detect which will only record
during motion. Several levels ensure reliable recording. Nearly
everyone uses this feature to conserve hard drive space. The
system uses digital pixelation so any camera regardless of
manufacturer is converted to motion detect if desired.

Advanced pixilation detects motion by digitally analyzing the
image.

You can easily control areas of motion detection, and sensitivity.
This makes it possible to filter out pets and areas with moving
objects,or maybe you have a high traffic area and you are only
concerned with people that pass through a doorway or isle.

Look at the example above the green high lighted area on left is
set for motion detect the area on the right is not.

You can adjust the number of grids required to activate motion
detect. In the examplebelowthe person on the left has occupied a
total of 13 grids highlighted in purple. a small pet would only
ocupy about 6 grids. You would then set the detect number to 7.
This would prevent a pet from activating motion detect while
allowing large object such as people orcars to activate motion
detect.

Can I Add Hard Drives?

There is another slot inside this unit. You can use any manufacturer with an
IDE size drive between 20 and 120gig. The system auto detects any drive
and initializes within seconds. Pure plug and play.
