Fours


Raindrops splatter on leafy fern fronds by a hand pump well. Back porch stoop drenched with water, rivulets running together to form a larger stream. Moss between stepping stones, soaks up tears from the sky. Dark clouds loom overhead releasing their bounty on bushes of lilacs and poinsettias below.
