In the early 1970's I named my bedroom "Shermanville U.S.A." and covered the walls and ceiling with 1400 pictures of Bobby Sherman. I still have a big fat notebook stuffed full with pictures, centerfolds and articles about Bobby from "Fave," "Tiger Beat'" and other teen magazines. I also painted three life sized (6 foot) portraits of Bobby (in 1970-71) and mailed him two of them. The first painting was mentioned in the teen magazine I had mailed it "care of." The second painting brought a brief letter of thanks from Bobby on March 1st, 1971. This is what it says: "Dear Becky -- Thanks so much for your "cylinder surprise" - the painting was great! Love ya, Bobby"
This page is dedicated to Bobby Sherman and to all the other devoted fans who, like me, dreamed of being "the special lady" Bobby was singing to in songs like "Little Woman" and "La, la, la, If I had You." (I changed the words of "Little Woman" to: "Hey, Bobby Sherman, I've made up my mind. I want to come into your world and leave my world behind!") I hope you will enjoy this walk down memory lane and will come back from time to time because this site will be in progress for a while. --Becky
