_ Resident Evil

It's July of 1998. A helicopter belonging to the Raccoon City Police STARS unit Alpha team is flying over Raccoon Forest in search of Bravo team's missing chopper. A stream of smoke is sighted and the team makes a landing near the crashed chopper. All the equipment is there but all the Bravo members are gone.

Alpha team is attacked by a pack of unusual and vicious hounds, forcing them to run towards a deserted mansion for cover. With one man down and another hightailing it in the chopper, the remaining members decide to split up and investigate the mansion. Instead of finding a safe haven, they found they'd wandered into a death trap.

Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, along with Barry Burton and Rebecca Chambers fight for their lives against a legion of monsters, zombies, giant tarantulas, poison snakes and a huge mutated creature known as the 'Tyrant', all the result of an 'accident', in their desparate attempt to escape.

While exploring, they come across the bodies of their fallen teammates and find clues and documents that explain how the mansion is a secret lab for a branch of the Umbrella Corporation, a world-wide pharmecutical and chemical-production company. Umbrella had decided to sacrifice its own scientists and ordered the corrupted Alpha leader, Wesker, to send in the STARS teams to this planned mission to be guinea pigs.

In the end, the 5 remaining STARS members succeed in escaping safely, but are now filled with determination to stop such a disaster from happening again. Because they knew the Umbrella Corporation's experiments were far from finished...


_ Alpha Team Bios

Chris Redfield // Marksman

Chris was kicked out of the Air Force for insubordination. He drifted around like a loney ghost until he met Barry. Barry recruited him for the newly-formed STARS and was later assigned to Raccoon City. A strong willed and reliable guy, Chris would come through in a pinch for any of his teammates. And wouldn't ya know it, he is one of the few survivors of the Raccoon Forest mission.

Jill Valentine // Machine Expert

Like Chris, Jill was recently assigned to Raccoon City. With the unbeatable combo of beauty and brains, she used the latter to save other STARS members from danger in the past. A capable and crafty soldier,she is pretty good with mechanical devices, like lock-picks, thus her nickname (The Master of Unlocking). I guess skills like that obviously came in handy, as she is one of the few survivors of the grisly Raccoon Forest mission.

Barry Burton // Weapons Specialist

Barry is an old friend of Chris Redfield and an ex-SWAT team member. He is in charge of weapons maintenance for all the STARS members and was Jill's 'helper' character. He's had over 16 years experience in the field and is a reliable and exceptional soldier. He's also one of the few survivors of the disasterous Raccoon Forest mission.

Joseph Frost // Vehicle Specialist

Joseph used to be on the STARS Bravo team until he was promoted to vehicle specialist for Alpha team. He seems like a pretty nice guy. It's too bad he died at the beginning of the Raccoon Forest mission. He was attacked and wounded fatally by a hell hound.

Brad Vickers // Pilot

Brad is good with a computer and likes to collect data. He can also fly a helicopter, which is why he's Alpha team's pilot. But this chicken-wuss is afraid of dying and sleeping with the lights off, and is the jerk responsible for abandoning the Alpha team at the beginning of the Raccoon Forest mission. He came back to give the few survivors a lift at the end of the mission, just before the mansion exploded. He appears in RE 2 as a zombie. In RE 3, you find out how he was infected.

Albert Wesker // Alpha Captain

A slimy weasel, Wesker sleazed his way up the system and became the captain of the RPD Alphas. He might have been the 'cool dude' who founded the STARS unit in Raccoon City, but he's also the backstabber responsible for the deaths of 5 STARS members during the Raccoon Forest mission.

He was a double agent, an Umbrella researcher and STARS captain and, for the purpose of personal financial gain, set up this whole bogus mission so that STARS members would be exposed to the T-Virus while he got rid of evidence of Umbrella's involvement in the recent murders in Raccoon City. 'Course, what goes around comes around, as he was skewered by the Tyrant's massive claw near the end of RE1.



_ Bravo Team Bios

Enrico Marini // Bravo Captain

He is Bravo team's leader and 2nd in command of the Raccoon STARS. He is a good leader, confident and capable, but he still feels that Chris or Barry will replace him as #1 to Weasel Wesker. Unfortunately, he was back-stabbed (or should I say, 'shot in the head') by Wesker himself, just as he was telling Jill who was responsible for the disasterous mission.

Richard Aiken // Communications Specialist

An important member of the STARS Bravo team, Richard is the communications expert for both Alpha and Bravo teams. He seems like a really sweet guy. So sweet, I guess the huge mutant snake in the mansion had to take a bite, poisoning him in the process. Jill found him and tried to get him the life-saving serum, but he died in her arms. *sniff*sniff.

Rebecca Chambers // Field Medic

This chickie is the youngest STARS member (she's 18!?), and was recruited for her knowledge of emergency field medicine and biochemistry. She is nervous around other members because of her age and lack of experience. And who wouldn't be? Being surrounded by hardened commandos would do that to anyone.

Still, this girl-wunder beat all odds and emerged victorious as the only Bravo member to survive the Raccoon Forest disaster. Ha,ha! What's all that experience and attitude gonna do for y'all now that you're dead?! Suckers! (BTW, she was also Chris's 'helper' character).

Forest Speyer // Vehicle Specialist

He is a vehicle specialist for Bravo team, as well as being a darn-tootin' good sniper in his spare time. His work made him one of the most respected members of STARS, but he met a gruesome demise in the mansion, when he was pecked to death by crows when he stepped out to the balcony for a cigarette. See?! I told you, smoking kills!

Kenneth Sullivan // Field Scout/Chemist

He is a quiet but talented field scout officer and part of STARS Bravo team. This chemist was enlisted in STARS by Weasel Wesker himself. He was killed in the mansion by a zombie, who also bit his head off (literally) after Kenneth refused to lend him his 'Walking Dead' CD.
