EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVE

Over the course of my career, I have spent and equal amount of time dealing with both hardware and software.  Software development and support has always been one my strongest aspects.  As such, I am looking for a career that will allow me to support software systems while still having some interface with hardware components.

Yazaki North America - Core R&D Facility, Canton, Michigan, USA

May 2003 to Present:  Applications & Design Electrical Engineer

·     Lead Electrical Engineer for Toyota Matrix Clock (2005 model year) designed from start to SOP.  Met deadlines and cost targets.                       

·     Created software for prototype version of Clock unit

·     Supervised Production line kick-offs and trial runs

August 2002 to May 2003:  Systems Support Electrical Engineer

·      Visited Nissan assembly plants and performed on-site vehicle testing in several car

         models (e.g. Maxima, Altima)      

·      Provided customer support and conducted Review meetings with Customer

·      Provided Step-Motor support to automotive customers

·      Introduced FPGA/CPLD software design and programming to cluster design (e.g.

Jan. 1999 to Sept. 2000:  Manufacturing Systems Department

·         Designed web pages for entire site & maintained web server while providing support to engineers, plant floor operators, supervisors and managers.

·         Dealt with ANS, MMS.  Mostly to help create MMS Reports for engine plan departments

·         Helped support TEM, VAX, POSMON throughout entire plant which involved support, development, troubleshooting & debugging and creating the weekly POSMON macro summary colored charts.

·         Setup and installation of pc for plant floor machines (MMI pc's)

·         Conducted Wireless solution tryout / prototype (laptop)

·     Analyzed & reported on daily and weekly quality readings to organize maintenance schedules
