The Century Las Vegas 6 drive-in |
The only drive-in left in Las Vegas |
The Century Las Vegas 6 drive-in is the only drive-in left In Las Vegas. Drive-ins are a thing of the past. Of course You know that. Back in the 70's there use to be about Seven nice drive-ins here I Vegas. But one by one they Slowly disappeared. Going to the drive was fun. And at 38 years old, it's still fun. Here is a list of the drive-ins That I remember here in town. |
Sunset drive-in: located on Boulder Hwy. Skyway drive-in: this was my favorite. Located on Boulder Hwy. Nevada drive-in: located near Nellis Airforce base, in North Las Vegas. It was a nice drive-in. Cheyenne drive-in? Stardust drive-in: behind the Stardust hotel. It was an old drive-in from back in the 50's I forget the name of the drive-in on Craig road. And there was a Drive-in on Lamb & Sahara Ave. I forget the name of that one too. I know when it When it closed the Century 6 got two of their Screens. They tore it down and built a walk in With 16 screens. It's the Century 16. So I think The drive-in was a owned by Century. Remember the heaters they use to have at the drive-ins? They were great on those cold nights. Even though it Doesn't get that cold in Vegas, it still was cold enough For those heaters. Oh, how I miss those heaters. |
