The titan also reveals that the Stone of Creation is the key to Dahak's defeat. Hercules meets Zarathustra, 1,000 years old, cursed by Dahak with immortality. He explains that there is a balance of good and evil that keeps the world safe, and by killing Dahak, the innocent soul of Iolaus would also be damned, upsetting the balance and throwing the world in chaos. Dahak shows Hercules how he messed with Iolaus' head after he had died. Hercules argues in favor of his friend, and Dahak's chest opens with Iolaus' hand reaching out, but quickly closes again. They argue back and forth, and Dahak's chest opens once again. Ares bursts in, bent on killing Dahak. As Hercules tries to stop him, Dahak begins strangling Ares with his mind, and the light begins to fade, weakening the chains that bind Dahak. Hercules leaps into the gaping hole in Dahak's chest and lands into a spiritual realm with Iolaus.
