Hercules Time Line

Note: since the series does not state any specific years or time refereces for anything. These events will be listed in the order in which they aired.

Alcmene becomes pregnant by Zeus, King of the Gods. She believes the child's father is her husband who was then killed in a war. (Amazon Women, Armageddon Now)

Jason brings the body of Alcmene's husband, Amphitryon, home. (Wedding of Alcmene) See inconsistencies.

Iolaus arrives from the future and saves a very pregnant Alcmene from Calisto's wrath. He tells her who the father really is and how close he is to her unborn child. (Armageddon Now)

Hercules is born.

Herc and Iolaus meet. (See Inconsistencies)

Hercules and Iolaus vow to die back to back heroes on the battlefield at age 8-10. (Amazon Women)

Hercules and Iolaus become partners. (end of Young Hercules pilot movie)

Hercules returns home to attend Iolaus' wedding to Ania. (Amazon Women)

Hercules and Iolaus are attacked by a child that turns into a hydra. Hera sent the monster. (Amazon Women)

Hercules and Iolaus travel to Gargarencia to help an all male town fight off a group of beasts that live in the woods. The monsters turn out to be a tribe of Amazons. Iolaus is killed in the battle. This event never happened after Zeus resets time. (Amazon Women)

Hercules falls in love with Hypolyta who is killed by Hera. This event never happened after Zeus resets time.(Amazon Women)

Zeus resets time so that Hercules and Iolaus never have to go to Gargarencia, so the events taking place there never happened but Hercules retains memory of them. Iolaus tells the story of the battle with the Amazons in Maze of the Minotaur) (Amazon Women)

Hercules is asked to help the lost city of Troy. Zeus tells him he must find the one true compass and it will point to Troy (Hercules and the Lost Kingdom)

Hercules rescues Deianeira from being the ritual sacrifice to a water god and learns that she is a princess of Troy. She is followed by Hera's Blue Priest (Hercules and the Lost Kingdom)

Hercules sells himself at a slave auction as a slave for a day. He is purchased by Queen Omphale who gives him the true compass that will lead him to Troy. (Hercules and the Lost Kingdom)

Hercules and Deianeira are swallowed by a sea serpent. Hercules kills the serpent by squeezing it's heart, they wash ashore at Troy. Deianeira becomes queen of Troy after her father dies and Hercules defeats Hera's priest by chopping off his head. (Hercules and the Lost Kingdom)

Hera steals Prometheus' flame which takes his gift of fire from the world. The world grows cold. Hercules meets Deianeira (the one that will become his wife) on the way to Mount Etheon to retrieve the flame. Zeus tries to stop Hercules because he doesn't want his son hurt by Hera. Zeus threatens Hera and she relents allowing Zeus to retrieve his son. (Hercules and the Circle of Fire)

Hercules uses the flame from Prometheus to heal his friend Chiron. (Hercules and the Circle of Fire)

Hercules marries Deianeira and they have three kids, Klonus, Aeson and Ilea. (happens between the movies Hercules and the Circle of Fire and Hercules in the Underworld)

Hercules goes to Hera's temple to ask for a truce but she refuses and Hercules destroys her altar. Zeus warns him that it will only make things worse and he should count his blessings. Hercules invites his father to come visit. Zeus agrees to. (Hercules in the Underworld)

Hercules is asked by a pretty girl to come help her village, Griffin, where a giant crack has opened up in the earth. The crack leads to the Underworld. Deianeira follow Hercules to warn him about Iole being a Neurian Maiden. Hercules already knew. He kills Nessus when the centaur attacks his wife. Deianeira gives Hercules her cloak which has Nessus' blood on it. She believes it will keep Hercules faithful. Zeus doesn't want Hercules going into the hole, after seeing the crack in the earth, Hercules refuses to help the villagers, He has a family to think about. The cloak attacks Hercules in the village and he throws it off. It transforms into a peacock. Hercules realizes that Hera is behind the crack and jumps into it out of anger. Charon explains to Hercules that Cerberus has gotten loose. Deianeira is tricked by Hera and falls from a cliff to her death. Hercules makes a deal with Hades to catch Cerberus in return he can bring Deianeira back with him. Zeus visits Hercules' family. (Hercules in the Underworld)

Iolaus and his wife Ania have one or more children of unknown gender, Ania dies leaving Iolaus a single parent. (This occurs between Hercules and the Amazon Women and Hercules and the Maze of the Minotaur)

Iolaus shows up to visit Hercules and shows him some fighting moves he's been learning from some guy from the East. (Hercules and the Maze of the Minotaur)

Hercules and Iolaus travel to Alturia to slay a monster. The monster turns out to be the Minotaur. Iolaus is captured but rescued by Hercules along with the other people the minotaur was planning to turn into his army. The minotaur is also a son of Zeus. Hercules has to kill his half brother. (Hercules and the Maze of the Minotaur)
