Here is a Great Mystery Machine that I found on the internet.
I must say that I claim no ownership or credit for this wonderful vehicle. Email that person below.

A Cartoon Car Made Real:

Bought a beat up Dodge with a decent engine
From original line art, my friend Abe Brewster helped make a design to fit the body
Slave/Brother Kurt helped me project the design onto the van late into the night
After tedious masking and preping for each coat, it was taken to Scott at Rendies to shoot the paint
Multi-layered Pearled paint was used to make the colors as bright as possible (Pictures cannot capture this effect at low resolution)
Final pinstriping took over a month and was the most agonizing part
A flower was on the front (not shown) but is being re-modeled
Would I sell it? Sure, but it'll cost you!
Yes, it IS a Love Machine, with fold out bed in back and carpet all around, baby

(The Following is from the creator of this machine)

This is not the real Mystery Machine. It was created as a functional piece of art and a tribute to the icon popularized by Hannah Barbera over 30 years ago. I wrote a letter to Hannah Barbera and the Cartoon Network when I began this project. I never received a response from them and so I continued as planned.
This Mystery Machine is a 1968 Chevy Van. It is officially designated a G-10, 1/2-ton van on a 90" wheelbase-the shortest Chevy Van made, I'm told it is even shorter than a Jeep Wrangler. This does not mean the interior is short on space.

And the creator of this Mystery Machine has a new pup, which he has named Scooby Doo.

The following is from this Mystery Machine Owner

Here's my 1978 GMC van. I shortened the body 51 inches, C-notched the rear frame 6 inches, and while I was in there I fabricated 18-inch wheel tubs (so the M/T Sportsman fronts would fit nicely later on). It also includes an LS9 350 4bbl. , B&M T350, P/S, P/B, A/C, Flowmasters and a full custom fleece interior with oak trim. And what would a short van be without the classic "Mystery Machine" paint scheme? This van gets more attention than anything I've ever driven or ridden in.
