THINGS YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT ADAM BALDWIN BUT WERE TOO AFFRAID TO ASK! :)
AKA 'THE STUFF THAT DOESN'T FIT ANYWHERE ELSE SECTION'
I'LL ADD MORE AS AND WHEN I GET IT.
1. After 'Ordinary People', Adam was cast in 'Night People', but unfortunetly it was never made (to my knowledge).
2. In 1999 Adam was almost in a production of 'Of Mice And Men' for the California Theatre of Performing Arts, but due to the impending actors strike at the time, he had to turn down the role.
3. Adam was asked to audition for the role of "Jango Fett" in 'Star Wars Episode 2: Attack Of The Clones'.
4. Adam auditioned for the part of "John Doggett" in 'The X-Files'. He didn't get it but they liked his audition and later cast him as "Knowle Rohrer".
5. On September 13th & 14th 2003, Adam played in the John Elway Celebrity Classic Golf Tournament at Omni Interlocken Resort and Golf Club, along with Rick Rhoden, Johnny Bench, Mike Schmidt, Jim McMahon and Jack Wagner.
6. During the early stages of production, Adam was a serious contender for the cast of 'Stargate Atlantis', but unfortunetly he wasn't cast in the end.
7. Adam's father, William W. Baldwin, was a police officer in Kenya during the 1950's Mau Mau uprising. He later wrote a book about it called 'Mau Mau Manhunt: The adventures of the only American who has fought the terrorists in Kenya' which was published in 1957. Here is a summary: "Personal account written by the only known American to have participated in the fight against Mau Mau. Baldwin joined the Kenya Police Reserve in 1954, and served with a General Service Unit in Kangema (14 Platoon) for 15 months. Provides interesting insights of the deployed policemen's views of the conflict". His father was also a writer for the Chicago Sun-Times.
