FROM PIG TO OBLIVION
Short Film (1993) 10 minutes
Starring: Nicholas Lea, Raul Inglis, Benjamin Ratner, Sarah-Jane Redmond.
Directed by Simon Barry (interview)
Nick, Simon Barry and a few friends made it as the first of a 10 part story made up of 10 minute shorts. Nick plays the overbearing friend of our hero "Stan", who, on his 30th birthday has been dumped by his girlfriend. Nick and a friend decide to cheer him up with a gift of an inflatable pig. Hilarity ensues. It was shot in 1993. From what I understand it is very quirky and not at all what one would expect from Nick or Simon Barry.
