THE FILM:
BASED ON THE BOOK OF THE SAME NAME, THIS MOVIE FOLLOWS THE STORY OF A FORMER HELICOPTER PILOT (PULLMAN) WHO'S CAREER IS ENDED BY AN ACCIDENT, HE BECOMES A BODYGUARD TO A FEDERAL JUDGE (OLIN) AND TOGETHER THEY DISCOVER A PLOT TO OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENT ON THE BRINK OF THE FIRST MANNED MISSION TO THE MOON SINCE 1969.

'Jason' works up at the Uni of British Columbia, a site used by the upcoming Ryan Phillippe flick "Anti-Trust" for filming locations, and has some details on a new project shooting there:
"I thought I'd drop a line about another feature being filmed at The University of British Columbia. This one is Ignition, starring Bill Pullman and Lena Olin. I happened to drop in on filming at about 12am, and although the set was closed they weren't very formal and a couple of us just stood around and gawked. We talked with an extra who was playing a limo driver and he told us that the basic plot involved some sort of presidential assasination attempt. Don't know who Bill or Lena plays, but they were both dressed in very nice outfits when they took a break for lunch. Could be a presidential/first-wife combination. They were using the Chan Centre (same place they used for Anti-Trust) and had it decked out for some fancy gala (complete with red carpet) and the aforementioned limos."
