About Us

Well, well, well! You wanna know about us, huh? Why else would you be here?! We’re not gonna tell you our personal stuff. We’re gonna tell you about how we started liking BSB and other stuff. Okay. Let’s begin.

I *Safiya* started really liking BSB when I saw them on MTV’s Spring Break this May I think it was. Actually I started liking their music before Spring Break. I really liked As Long As You Love but I stood there in Sam Goody for 15 minutes deciding whether or not to but it or not. Well I did but anyway, I didn’t start loving them until Spring Break. I was talking to my friend *not Danielle but another Kev-freak* on the phone and she asked me if I saw BSB’s new video. I was like no. So we’re talking on the phone and she tells me to put it on MTV. The Grind was on and them BSB came out. That’s when it started. My friend and I both said "WHOA!" when we saw Kevin in that tight white tank-top with those khaki (sp?) pants on and a fisherman’s hat. We were both like "Who the hell is that?!" We were like "Damn he’s fine!!!" So we talked a little more about him and then we hung up. Later that night she was coming over to my house. That same night I saw the "Everybody" video. I was like this is phat. You know the part at the end when Kevin freezes or whatever? Well I couldn’t get that out of my head! I got my BSB album and for the first time I listened to the whole thing. *Note: I never used to listen to a whole album before them.* Anyways I was hooked on "Everybody"…and anything else BSB had to offer. Through these months I’ve managed to convert my cousins and friend into BSB fans. (ie. Danielle *She still owes me by the way.*) I’ve converted 5 people and I’m damned proud!!! Wanna know what my order of the guys are? Well Kevin is my #1 and only. AJ is 2nd cause he’s so cute and spontaneous. Brian and Nicky are 3rd cause they’re funny and cute! And Howie’s 4th and he’s really sweet. So there it is folks! All about how my obsession started.

Favs. In Music: The Backstreet Boys are my absolute fav. I also like Dru Hill, 5ive, Pretty Fly [For a White Guy] by the Offspring, No Doubt, Shania Twain, Aeorosmith, Third Eye Blind, One Week by Barenaked Ladies, Kelly Price, Aaliyah, Dope Show by Marilyn Manson, Madonna especially Power of Goodbye, old Mariah Carey, Iris by Goo Goo Dolls, Ruff Rider’s Anthem by DMX, Celine Dion, Lauren Hill, Wyclef Jean, Sweetheart by Mariah Carey and JD, Aaron Carter, Tearin' Up My Heart by 'N sync and the Backstreet Boyz with a Z, and I also listen to oldies from like the 50's and stuff. I also love Du Hast by Rammstein (sp?) I basically listen to anything; I just have to like the song. Oh hell!! BSB’s all over my head so I can’t think of anymore right now.

Favs in Movies: Face Off, Die Hard 3, Speed, Welcome to the Dollhouse, Chuckie 2, Forrest Gump, Interview With the Vampire *Note: Kev’s favorite book.*, Shawshank Redemption, Fear, Sleepers, any movie with psychos, Players Club, Beauty and the Beast, Ghost, Kids, Flirting, A Low Down Dirty Shame, Jurassic Park 1 & 2, Selena, La Bamba, Grease, Bevis and Butthead Do America, any spoof movie, Too Wong Foo, How Stella Got Her Grove Back, Austin Powers, anything with Jim Carey, the Birdcage, Love Valor and Compassion, The Color Purple, A Goofy Movie, Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion, Con Air, Radio Flyer and Mr. and Mrs. Loving. Fav part in any BSB song: When Brian says "And if by chance we should find that it can be for you and I…" in Darlin and when Kevin and Brian say "Feels like it’s deep within me" in As Long You Love Me, and the way they end All I Have to Give when they perform it.

Fav BSB song: I’m not exactly sure but right now it’s All I Have to Give. But that’s what I love about BSB’s songs; I don’t have just one favorite.

*And now for Danielle’s corny little tidbits*

God it’s about time! Wasn’t that very boring. (see she’s trying to correct my grammar.) * Ha! She doesn’t even know what to write about herself! Safiya* God she needs to shut up! Anyways! At first she used to annoy me because she used to always sing I’ll Never Break Your Heart *But I caught her singing it! Safiya* Well the way I started to like the Backstreet Boys was from her and God she will never let me forget it! I hear everyday "You owe me! You owe me!" Shut up already! Damn! I know! Geez! Anyways one night me and Safiya were out talking about our fantasies when she mentioned a fantasy that struck me. Her fantasy was imagine that you’re sitting on your bed watching T.V. or reading and then Kevin comes in some black wind-breakers or black silk pajama bottoms and he comes over and takes the book or whatever and smiles and use you imagination for the rest! *God she won’t let me write about myself!!!* Then after she told that fantasy I was hooked on Kevin. God I never noticed how fine this man was! Safiya was very shocked when she heard me say that I liked Kevin. I used to like some of BSB’s songs but I never really took a good look at them. Especially when I saw the All Access video. I went crazy when I saw the Quit Playing Games video. Safiya says I have problems just because I like mostly everything he does. I think that he is very unique. *She gets some sorta pleasure out of the way he claps, drinks and says "Yeah!" She thinks it’s manly. Problems??? Yeah, I think so! Safiya* *God could you blame me? Look at him!* I’m not obsessed okay! Kevin is just so damn fine. Anyways, my number one favorite BSB is Kevin (as if there was any doubt.) My second favorite is A.J. He is so adorable. I love his character. He’s some one I can chill with. My third fav is Brian. Brian cracks me up. He’s such a comedian. My fourth fav is Nick. Nick is cool with me. Last but not least, Howie. Howie also cracks me up. Well this is how my obsession started.

Fav part in any BSB song: In ALAYLM when Nick goes like "I don’t care" and "And I will give it to you" from All I Have to Give *Which I might add was WRONGLY cut out of the AIHTG video! Danielle*, AJ’s rap and he says "I feel in Heaven when I look in your eyes" in Get Down and when Brian repeats "Get down and move it all around".
