I will send you a dream, as you lay down for your nights rest,
beneath the stars in the sky the Moon shining so high,
so that you sleep peacefully full of heart and grace.
I wish the dream you dream is one of me touching your heart
bring you warmth from the cold night, Embracing you like
a blanket soft & secure. I send you a dream, for the many miles between us are long and far. Will you dream of me somehow someway, as I dream of you? I will be there reaching out to touch your hand, offering you my heart in the other. Will you take it will you accept? Will you reach out as I dream of you at that very moment, wishing I could be by your side, dreaming of a distance not far? I send you my dream, that I have dreamt times before, in a place so familliar yet a place that's unknown. In that dream I sence someone there with a dream they have dreamt the same as I. In thoughts of wondering memories there I find only the dreams of one. Could this dream alas be the dream of you of dreaming me, for all we are just a dream. I sent you a dream, it was of my heart, hold it through the night. Never letting go from the warm embrace, and let it into your heart. Then you will know I sent you that dream that touched your heart. |
