Far between this world
and the next,
I saw your face
in this ahh so familiar eclipse.
I didn’t know what to expect….
as my hand moved down
to brush away the leaves
that were twirling on the ground,
and in one movement
I began to dance through the air
and people would stare
as the wind moved through my hair,
yet all that was on my mind….
was the gaze of your eyes,
and how simple one can be taken
