You came and found a weary heart
that knew nothing but dispair.
all my life I searched for you,
never knowing that you were there.
The night's became less lonely,
as the star's shone bright above.
The day's were filled with sunshine
and the promise of new love.
The music played a different tune,
one i'd never heard
as you gently took my hand
and we danced beneath the moon.
Now life is more complete for with me
you've shared your love,
and with every passing day
I thank god up above.
