When there are times like these..
when I feel like I'm waiting for something,
I just sit back and feel the breeze.
My mind feels so un made up
about what to do next,
so I look up at the sky and drink out of my cup.
I wonder about things,
like what there is without her,
because he is what happiness brings.
So I just look out at the ocean
and watch the birds fly by,
as I try to conjure every emotion.
As I sit here trying to hold back the tears,
I realize that she is the girl
that took away all of my fears.
I know that the love truly does run deep,
and I now know that she’s the girl
that I want to keep.
