Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988)

Originally intended as a musical vehicle for David Bowie and Mick Jagger, it ended up with Martin and Michael Caine playing competing con-artists on the French Riviera.

Bunn - Another long-time-ago movie that I watched in my youth. My memory cetainly tells me that I enjoyed it, but i can't seem to remember that much about it, to be perfectly honest. It's over to you, Dave.

Dave - Another stroke of genius from the man Martin. He is superfly Jimmy Snucker Style as the lower fraudster of the pair yet easily holds his own against Caine's resilient Englishness. The sillyness kicks in when he plays the spazo Ruprect and the crippled army officer but it's a crying shame that the shot on the trailer of him pushing the old woman into the river didn't make it into the movie.
