Bunn - If you haven't read my attack on this on the Aykroyd page, well....I could repeat it now, but.. basically the TV show was like having my eyes poked with needles whilst being anally raped by my grandmother with a 9 iron golf club which had been slowly heated over a fire. The kindling on the fire would be my genitals, and the smoke would pollute the world...So whilst all this is going on, I would have to watch the world slowly die in horrific pain and misery. So, am I ever going to watch the film? You decide. Dave - The TV show was a stroke of genius so the film, even with Martin, could never be as good. As it stands, it's a funny movie with some good moments but it's nowhere near the brilliance of Phil Silvers. Ignore what Mr. Bunn says, he watches Changing Rooms so what does he know? |
