PLanes, Trains and Automobiles
Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987)

Martin is Neal Page, an advertising executive on route home for Thanksgiving who gets rerouted and stuck with John Candy as a travelling companion. Much mixmatched fish out of water laughs follow...

Bunn - YES, YES, YES!!!! Number One!!!Number One!!! What isn't wrong with this film (not a rhetorical question, Dave) - Candy & Martin play off each other so well, neither of them trying to hog the limelight or out-act the other. Come on, the scene at the car rental counter is pure cinematic genius. Never has someone swore so well, apart from perhaps Glengarry Glen Ross, which was fantastic, but...that coupled with the "Those aren't pillows" gag make this reign supreme in the Martin camp.

Dave - Very highly over-rated, it's that crazy John Hughes dude again... he should have stuck with teen comedies and shots of Molly Ringwalds crotch. Anyway, Planes, Trains etc is dull and hard to watch more that once.
