There is an item in my home which frequently brings inquisitive comments from new guests. A tall candle encased in a glass cylinder sits near the television, adorned with the holy image of Michael Biehn. You've seen the "Jesus candles," and the "Mother Mary" candles at the homes of your Catholic friends, but in my house we have the "Michael Biehn candle."
This usually leads to the ineviable next question... "who?" Well, the usual explanation is short. Usually after saying, "he was in The Terminator" people clue in. The true performance force behind that movie rests on the shoulders of Michael Biehn who plays Kyle Reese. He makes that movie great. Not Arnie... not Linda... but Michael. Inarguably.
Since then, he's played a string of vital supporting roles. But let me emphasize vital. His characters are nearly always essential to the plot's progression.
