While David specialises in truths-stranger-than-fiction on screen, his own antics - confirmed by a blushing Tea herself - make enough material for a Sex Files spin-off show. Tea boasts to friends that David is "the most incredible lover I've ever had" and that she can't get enough of him, while David makes no secret of his passions to The X Files crew.

 "David calls out to the crew: 'Hurry up - Tea's naked in the trailer with honey and strawberry jam all over her body, says an X Files source.

 "We all know that if Tea is in town and on the set, everything has to be done in one take or we are cutting into David's 'tea time'.

 "Producer Chris Carter loves it whenever Tea turns up because the show somehow gets filmed in three-quarters its usual production time. Everyone is in on getting David off the set as quickly as possible."

 Tea is not shy about spilling The Naked Truth to her friends. She first swooned at the sight of David in skimpy red Speedos on an X Files episode.

 "He knocked me out. I was determined to see him without those Speedos on. I was a woman on a mission! " she giggles.

 The mission was accomplished when they met in January at a Hollywood Screen Actors Guild ceremony.

 "That very first night we went to the Hollywood Athletic Club, shot a couple of games of pool and then drove to the Mondrian hotel and got a room," says Tea. "I think we emerged about 18 hours later!"

 Tea and David married in Manhattan in May, just after they went into holiday breaks for their respective hit shows.

 "David is incredible," Tea sighs.

 One close pal has listened to Tea's non-stop raving about David since that January tryst.

 "All Tea talks about is what a fabulous lover he is, " the friend reveals. "She goes on and on about what a great love life they have.

 "Tea says that David is a non-stop love machine! All it takes is one look from those soulful puppy-dog eyes, and the sight of that beautiful buffed body, and she goes wild."

 Tea is so besotted, she keeps a picture of a naked David in her wallet and admits she is in a state of constant craving for their next encounter.

 "When I think of seeing David completely naked, it just makes me quiver!" Tea smiles. "All I can think of is the next time we'll make love."

 Tea isn't the first woman to go weak at the knees at the mere thought of David. His ex-girlfriend, Perrey Reeves, still says the thing she misses most about him is his body and their sizzling nights of passion.

 "He's remarkable," says Perrey. "David has a major talent - and I'm not talking about his acting ability."

 David's talents extend to the creative and experimental - like his taste for strawberry jam. He and Tea are often seen in a certain LA adults only shop, buying sex toys, body lotion and even furry rope and handcuffs. And their regular dressing room trailer trysts are tame compared with some of the spots where he and Tea have made love.

 "Thev did it in the kitchen of the Hell's Kitchen Bistro, where they had their New York wedding reception," says Tea's friend. "They skipped off while everyone was eating and made love next to the stove. Tea said it was the most exciting sex of her life.

 "She says they've also had some great encounters in a lift and in a parking station!"

 If there's a sense of urgency about their romantic life it's understandable: The Naked Truth films in Los Angeles and The X Files in Vancouver, so their time together will always be limited as long as they're such huge stars.

 As Tea's friend puts it: "Tea and David have known that the daily fun had to end as soon as their shows started cranking out new episodes, so they've been determined to cram in as much hanky-panky as possible!"
