Once Bitten

Once Bitten, starring Jim Carrey and Lauren Hutton, is one of my personal favourites, and is the second movie that Jim Carrey ever starred in... and not only that, but he didn't star in a movie again for many years. Mark Kendall, (JC) was a normal teenage guy, in the 80's, who, as many teenage guys, really wanted to have make love with his girlfriend, Robin. Unfortunatly for Mark (but fortunatly for the script), Robin insisted that "if it was good, it could wait." One of Mark's friends suggests going to Hollywood, and they do, looking for a few girls... you know...
Well, Mark does "get lucky," if it was indeed luck, and meets The Countess (LH). She takes him to her house, and if I were to tell you much more, the movie would be spoiled. Anyway, the Countess, (A vampire) needs the blood of a virgin 3 times every year (before each Halloween) to keep her youth... and Mark happens to be the virgin she chose. The movie includes troubles between Mark and Robin, a vampire following Mark around, and also a very good dance scene. The movie is quite good, (In my eyes, it's excellent) and in my opinion, the acting is also good. A "darkish" comedy.
