Darryl is a native of Philadelphia, Pa.
The son of former Philadelphia radio pioneer Kae Williams Sr., Darryl was raised in the Chestnut Hill area of Philly and attended Charles W. Henry Elementary, M. L. King High, Community College of Philadelphia and Oakwood College, Huntsville, Ala.
Growing up in the music industry exposed him to the many different types of people and because of the "success" of his fathers career grew up in a rather affluent enviroment. With the passing away of his mother in his early teens Darryl was left with a sense of curiosity throughout his teen years. A musician himself, Darryl played in various local bands in Philly and was rather involved in the drug culture of the 70's. After meeting the Lord Jesus during his junior year of high school, he then went on to attend Bible College where he studied comparative religion and communications. Realizing the traditional forms of religion fell far short of what he was learning from his personal study of the scriptures, he became rather frustrated with a theological approach to God.
" It is not people's race, economic background, or particular social climate in which they live that determines their success or failure in life. It is their ability or inability to define, refine and respond to the purpose of God for their lives."
Darryl is committed to helping people regardless of their status in life come into an understanding of the reality of Jesus Christ.
