1993 TV Appearances

January: Boyz II Men were once again on the NAACP Image Awards and won an award there.

January: Boyz II Men appreared on MTV's Inagural Ball for America's new president at the time, Bill Clinton. They sang "In the Still of the Nite (I'll Remember)," "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday," "Motownphilly," and "End of the Road."

January: At the American Music Awards, Boyz II Men won two awards, and they sang "End of the Road." Backstage, they cried because of the loss of their road manager, Khalil Roundtree. It was a very emotional night for the fellas, they they were so excited, but sad at the same time. Nate jumped into Shawn's arms when they won one of their awards.

January: Boyz II Men appeared on the last game in the regular season of the NFL, on Monday Night Football. The last game was the San Francisco 49ers verus the Philadelphia Eagles at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. Boyz II Men were not at the game, but they kicked off by singing "End of the Road" which was changed a bit to fit the football season.

Febraury: Boyz II Men were on BET's Video Soul, hosted by Donnie Simpson. The talked about Michael Bivins, breaking the record with "End of the Road," career surprises, about admiring New Edition, being accepted by every race, how "End of the Road" was a hit, nominations for Grammys, sang a bit of "End of the Road," being together for four years (two friendship years), and when fans call them. It was a very cute interview!

Febraury: Boyz II Men attended the Britt Awards to sing their smash, "End of the Road." They also won an award which Nate had to accept in actor Pactrick Swayze's microphone on his chest because their microphone broke! While they sang "End of the Road" Michael Jackson was in the front row and was singing along with them, which must have been a thrill for the fellas.

Febraury: At the Stay in School Jam in Utah, Boyz II Men sang "End of the Road."

Febraury: The next day, they sing the "National Anthem" at the NBA All Star Game in Salt Lake City, Utah.

February: Boyz II Men go to the Grammys and win one award, and they presented also.

February: On BET's Out All Night, Boyz II Men sang "Motownphilly." They even got Duane Martin (the security guy in the "I'll Make Love to You" video) to sing a bit of "Motownphilly" since he was on that show.

March: At the Soul Train Music Awards, Boyz II Men won three awards, and sang a medley of "Please Don't Go," "Motownphilly," "Uhh Ahh," and "End of the Road."

July: Boyz II Men appeared on a Spanish show called Sabado Giganto and lip-synched the Spanish version of "End of the Road."

September: On the MTV Video Music Awards, Boyz II Men presented the New Artist Award to Nirvana with Wilson Phillips. Nate even plugged both of their Christmas albums.

September: American Journal had an interview with just Mike. He talked about why women alwayz go crazy for him at concerts, his mom treating him the same way before he was famous, and his worst fear is waking up and not remembering what exactly happened. During the first part of the interview, they drove down the freeway in his green corvette!

September: On Good Day LA, Boyz II Men talked about their second album for 1994, how they got together, how Michael Bivins found them, Cooleyhighharmony sold seven million albums at that point, some people getting emotional during "End of the Road," how great it was to break the Elvis record, and why Christmas Interpretations is different from most Chistmas albums.

October: At Michael Jordan's Farewell Special, Boyz II Men sang "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday" which almost made Michael Jordan cry!

December: Boyz II Men appeared on Good Morning America. They sang "Silent Night." During the interview, they said that they are doing a lot of work right now, they're happy that Christmas Interpretations is doing well, they are enjoying what they are doing, they told the discovery story, and they don't like it when people call them rappers since they are not even close to rappers.

December: On Channel 7 News in Los Angeles, California Boyz II Men talked about Christmas Interpretations. They talked about their individual perceptions of Christmas, talk about many topics on Christmas Interpretations album, and they are the kind of group that likes to make a difference.

December: On the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Boyz II Men were the major characters on the show. The plot was that Will promised to get Boyz II Men for Nicky's christening, but didn't know how to. So, Boyz II Men were in the studio in LA to do a radio appearence. When they see Will Nate says that you're the fool who stole Necce. Will says it wasn't you, it was this big lipped dude, with four eyes, and always sang songs with these four guys on the corner. Then they get mad, and throw him out. So, the next day, Boyz II Men are sad because they have to work on Christmas Eve. So Will walks in as Santa, and asks if you would like to go to a little boy named Nicky's Christening. Wanya says will there be a reception? Will says yes, and they are definetly going. When Will was about to leave, his beard came off, and Boyz II Men ran after him, but he locked him in the studio. So the day of the christening, Will was about to say that Boyz II Men couldn't show up, and Boyz II Men come out, and sing "Silent Night" So Nicky's name turned out to be Nicky Michael Shawn Nathan Wanya Banks.

December: At the Billboard Music Awards, Boyz II Men presented an award to Whitney Houston with Sinbad.

December: Boyz II Men made another appearance on BET's Video Soul, this time to talk about Christmas Interpretations. They talked about their new management, why Michael isn't their manager anymore, how amazing Boyz II Men's success is, and they will not change due to new management.

December: On the Mickey Mouse Club, Boyz II Men sang "You're Not Alone," and "Let it Snow." They had a small interview and said how Philly music influnenced them, and how it was working with Brian McKnight. When they sang the end Mickey Mouse them song, Boyz II Men said "See You Really Soon!" They even danced at the end with the mouseketeers!

December: Boyz II Men were on a made for TV holiday cartoon called, "A Cool Like That Christmas." They sang original and traditional songs for the special and were voices to cartoon characters.

December: On a Kenny Rogers Christmas Special, Boyz II Men did a duet with him for the song "The First Noel," they sang "The Birth of a Christ" in a church, and talked to some kids who wanted to meet them, so they went to one of their concerts, and interviewed them.

December: On the Arsenio Hall Show, Boyz II Men made their third appearance on the show. They sang "In the Still of the Nite (I'll Remember)," "You're Not Alone," and "Let it Snow" with Brian McKnight (in the audience). During the interview, Arsenio asked if their is a democratic role in the group, Nate is bossy and overbearing, Shawn is still insecure (the audience loved that), they will never change their name, cleared up rumors about Boyz II Men and Michael Bivins spliting, and they were asked what they wanted for Christmas, (Mike got a Landcruiser, Wanya wants world peace and happiness).

December: On a NBC Special called Friday Night Videos, Boyz II Men hosted Christmas videos. They talked about how they got discovered, the "Motownphilly" video, and how "End of the Road" came about. They sang a bit of "The Birth of Christ," (which was dedicated to Khalil), "In the Still of the Nite," "Please Don't Go" (with Nate on the keyboard), "Can You Stand the Rain" (Nate introduced the song by playing the keyboard), "Uhh Ahh," and "Silent Night."

December: On an ABC special called Christmas in Concert, Boyz II Men talk about Christmas Interpretations, and why they did it. They sang "The Birth of Christ" acapella. It showed their videos, "Silent Night," "Let it Snow," and "Share Love," all from Christmas Interpretations.
