Inspiring Song: The Color of Love & Luv N U
Complete Review: At first, I was a little disappointed with the album content but after a few days, it really grows on you. Full Circle continues on from where the Boyz left off with their previous album and just confirms their ability to develop their music to present day R&B. The only criticism I have is that there are not enough ballads and a capellas of old. "Luv N U" and "The Color of Love" are beautiful tracks that are reminisent of the Boyz II Men of yesteryear, but I believe many fans will be lost due to the distinct change in their style, not a bad thing, but they can't please everyone. Overall, an excellent piece of musical genius from the Boyz that evolved II Men and truly shaped what is now known today as the greatest and most heavenly voices in music.

Complete Review: After an amazing debut album with Cooleyhighharmony and a record shattering follow-up with II, Boyz II Men were the most recognized group in the early 90s. But if you're not a fan, then "One Sweet Day" was probably the last time you've seen them on the charts! To be honest, I absolutely loved their "flops." Evolution in 1997 and Nathan Michael Shawn Wanya in 2000. But, the press and reviewers hated them. Well, they are back with their fifth studio album. Not only have they come back, but they've done it stronger than ever. This is the album of the year for me. They have gone back to that great formula working once again with Babyface and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. tThus the album title, coming Full Circle. My favorite track on this album would definitely be "Right On Time." A great falsetto song and very neo soul. I can imagine D'Angelo doing it instead. It's got great guitar riffs as well, reminiscent of an Ernie & Ronald Isley collaboration. Their secnd single, "Relax Your Mind" (featuring Faith Evans), samples the Motown legend DeBarge's track "I Like It." A very cruising track and Faith's vocals give the track the extra edge. Another mentionable track would be "That's Why I Love You." Just a fabulous ballad in the style of Boyz II Men. And then of course the first single from the album, "The Color of Love," which didn't do as well as I expected. I felt it wasn't a very commercial release. Well, even if this album isn't accepted by the public, it will go into my collection as one of the best R&B albums of all time, right next to II. If you get the opportunity, try to get the bonus track release of this album. The bonus track of "Woman Don't Cry" is a masterpiece.

Inspiring Song: That's Why I Love You
Complete Review: I ran the day they sold this album because I was anticipating a great album. As a rebound from their last album which was packing some good tunes, but unfortunately was marketed incorrectly and insufficeiently. When I first heard "The Color of Love," I was smiling because I knew that the original Boyz II Men sound had come back and it made me even happier to know that Babyface had written the song. I knew things were getting better. I got the CD, and to be frank, I am kind of disappointed to hear they released "Relax Your Mind" as their second single. I don't think it shows how far the guys have come and it definetly isn't near the best song on the album. As for the rest of album, let me get to the bad parts first. Usually, when it comes to club and dance songs, Boyz II Men just can't hit the mark. The last CD housed a great hit, "Good Guy," but was never released. On this album, there are some mixed reviews about their fast songs. "Ain't A Thang Wrong" is not Boyz II Men. These guys are the kings of romance, and they're cursing? Hmm..the other two were more than I expected. "On the Road Again" had this cool beat that is unlike them but new and awesome. Then comes "Roll Wit Me" which is a great song. Boyz II Men know how to take this subject of clubbing and make it amazing. Other low points was the last track, "I'll Show You," I didn't understand where they were going with this song. It had wonderful musical components, but there was no background to it. Another low point was that there was no acapella. With a bass like Michael and such diversity of voice in the group, I was disappointed to see no acapella on the album. Now for the higher points. As many had mentioned before, "Oh Well" is the greatest song. But then again, it comes from some of their best writers. It's beautiful in that there is that power behind the music and orchestra that seem to follow the Boyz voices. Amazing. The second best song has to be "That's Why I Love You." The masterpeice behind this song is that the simple lyrics of simply loving a person come alive with this complex relationship and love between two people. Other highlights as mentioned before were "On the Road Again." Overall, the album didn't surprise me, it was all I expected. Wonderful, but not quite blow-me-away material. I loved it and I would highly recommenend it. :)

Complete Review: I love this cd. Nathan Michael Shawn Wanya is still my favorite Boyz II Men CD, but this CD delivers what I was looking for. The harmonies are air-tight, ballads are beautiful (as always), the up-tempo songs are great, especially "Roll Wit Me." "Oh Well" made me not give up on someone that meant a lot to me and now we working on getting our relationship back on track. Full Circle is a wonderful CD and I hope that the public realizes that the Boyz have given us a gift of beautiful music in the form of this CD.

Inspiring Song: The Color of Love
Complete Review: This album brings the Boyz back (not that they ever left). All their past albums have been great. To this day I cannot understand why people were baggin' on Nathan Michael Shawn Wanya. It's arguably their best album to-date. Anyway, back to Full Circle.
1. "Relax Your Mind" - This is a nice mid-tempo song. Don't know if it's all that radio friendly though.
2. "The Color of Love" - Very good song. The video makes it even more spectacular. Very meaningful.
3. "Ain't A Thing Wrong" - Hmm..all I have to say on that one is....who is Rob Jackson??
4. "Oh Well" - What can I say? One of the best ballads I've heard ever. Smooth vocals and a wicked vocal arrangement.
5. "Whatcha Need" - I like this one. It has a nice chorus.
6. "On the Road Again" - Nice background music...more of a contemplative track. Nice.
7. "Makin' Love" (Interlude) - All I'm going to say is that it should have been a full song.
8. "Roll Wit We" - Nice uptempo. Infectious.
9. "Right On Time" - Soulful track. Has a nice little old soul feel to it especially with the ad libs in the first verse.
10. "Howz About It" - Nice song musically, but the chorus is kinda pointless. Good vocals though.
11. "That's Why I Love You" - One of the best songs on the album without a doubt. A smooth as velvet chart-topping potential here. Excellent.
12. "I'm OK, You're OK" - Doesn't really strike me at all.
13. "Luv N U" - All I can say is that this is the "Dreams" of Full Circle. The best song hands down. Which kinda should be released must be released. What kinda worries me because it may not be released because it isn't candy lyrics and may be considered risque for the Boyz since it's just on the borderline of being too sexy in some people's opinions. In my opinion, it's perfect, not at all explicit. Again I say, it needs to be released.
14. "I'll Show You" - The only song on the album I don't like.

Complete Review: Superb album. Well balanced. Not only are the first string songs, "Oh Well," "The Color of Love," are out of this world. But, the second string songs are pretty damn good too. "Right On Time," "I'm OK, You're OK," "Luv N U", "I'll Show You," and "That's Why I Love You." I think this album ranks up with the very best of all-time.

Inspiring Song: Oh Well
Complete Review: You know, I love Boyz II Men with a passion, and I love this album. The only thing that really made me stop and be critical of it was the lyrical content. I thought the actual music was great, but when you stopped and listened to the words along with I was a little bit disappointed. I was also disappointed that there was no a capella song on the album, that's something I always look forward to. But, with all that aside, I still would have given the album about a 9 or a 9.5. Then, I went back and listened to it a few more times and I was listening to "Ain't A Thang Wrong." I heard bullshit. I was like what the heck man, that's out of the ordinary, and I think that its a good thing that guys are being themselves more and it's not even that that makes me not like the song as much as some others on the album. It was the little rap bit on it that I didn't like too much. Other than that, I thought every other song on the album was hot. The first time I heard "Oh Well," I knew this album was gonna be pretty out of the norm because the way that was done just took my breath away, it's so beautiful. Overall, I think the album is good. Another great creation by Boyz II Men and I must applaud them for it.

Inspiring Song: The Color of Love
Complete Review: Well, I got the album, and I checked it out. I like the whole album except for the Rob Jackson track. Can anyone tell me who the hell he is? His verse sucked, and the track was just crap. I loved "The Color of Love." "Oh Well" is classic. I like "Howz About It," and "On the Road Again," that track is so ill. I love "Roll Wit Me" and "Whatcha Need." I really like and am also disappointed that they didn't make a complete song out of the "Makin' Love" interlude, because the music for the interlude was insane, it was just amazing. Overall, I have to say that they just keep getting better and better. I feel this album is better than the last one, just barely..lol. II is my fave album, but ya know the boyz are always getting better. They can sing circles around their former selves from back in the day, they are more focused and I just cannot wait until they release the next album and another greatest hits..lol. If you haven't gotten the album go and get it. It is worth every penny you will ever spend on a CD. They are that good.
