Boyz II Men: Heroes in Hell

Motown carved a place for itself in the music world many years ago with such artists as Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross, & The Supremes, and, of course, The Jackson Five.

But in the past few years only Boyz II Men has put Motown back on the top of the heap with their strong hit singles and albums. And you can't classify their music as hip-hop, R&B, rap or any other category. Their music is strictly unique and will continue to be.

But it's unlikely that you'll find them tossing down drinks at night clubs like Johnny Dep's Viper Room. They prefer quiter parties with people they know.

This isn't exactly they type of person who comes to Hollywood and makes it big. So big in fact that without Boyz II Men, Motown Records would not be enjoying the success they currently have.

But with Boyz II Men, it isn't likely. They know what their goals are and are not about to be swayed by useless pastimes that could lessen their opporunities to become one of Motown's biggest acts ever! And that's saying a lot!

The people who work with them classify Boyz II Men as four of the best adjusted singers in show business. One recod executive comments that "they put other young singers in shame. They always have their work down pat.....they don't complain or try to pull rank.....and they listen to those of us who have something to teach them. Other acts come in and have one hit record and try calling the shots and throwing their weight around. These boys don't do that and I don't think they ever will. And this is one reason why they'll be here for a long, long time!"

There are many temptations in Hollywood and when you are successful, young, and fairly unsophisticated, often bad things can happen.
