Transcript to "On Bended Knee" on Pop Up Video

I am only showing the Boyz II Men related info from Pop Up Video

Shot in two days in New Orleans while Boyz II Men were touring.

Boyz II Men wanted to be the stars of the four stories in this video.

They made a wish list of co-stars including Jada Pinkett, Janet Jackson, and Toni Braxton. (Shows a pic of all three)

They ended up with two soap stars and two sitcom stars.

Story #1: The Shar Pei Connection starring Shawn Stockman (Shar-Pei is the dogs they both had)

Shawn wanted a "G-rated" storyline so his girlfriend wouldn't get angry.

It didn't work - they broke up several months later.

Story #2: The Artist starring Michael McCary

Michael's story was inspired by the sidewalk atists in the Latin Quarter.

Story #3: The Lipstick Letter starring Nathan Morris

The letter says that Nate is too occupied with work, and it's hurting their love.

It ends "I feel I have no other choice than to leave or go away. Love, Kim" (Kim Fields Freedman)

Nate does not play the trumpet

Story #4: The Driver starring Wanya Morris

Points to his girl, Lark Voorhees

Michael starred in the "R-rated" story because he didn't have a girlfriend.

$1000 worth of camera lenses were stolen during the balcony scene.

Points to Victoria Rowell of The Young and the Restless (Shawn's girl)

Boyz II Men hope their songs help other men communicate with their partners.

(Points to the bug guy in the background playing the sausaphone) There is no sausaphone part in this song.

Wanya spent his time between takes "chatting up" Lark.

Some scenes were filmed on a streetcar named St. Charles.

(Wanya's really emotional part) Has a bubble coming from Wanya's mouth that says Tooooootie!!!

Small Bio at the end of the video:
Boyz II Men never got to see the sights of New Orleans - they were off to the next town on the tour. And even down "On Bended Knee" none of them got dates with their co-stars.
