If you're hoping to run into Boyz II Men during the next 12 months, don't bother hanging around their hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - because they won't be there. From now until the end of the year, Michael McCary, Shawn Stockman, Nathan Morris, and Wanya Morris will be living out of suitcases as they carry out their 1995 All Around the World Tour.
The guys are no stranger to long-haul road trips. Two years ago, when they toured with Hammer, they were on the road for ten months straight, often performing six nights a week.
Nathan adds that even after they got burned out from their last tour, "once we got away, we kind of missed it."
It might sound grueling, but nobody's complaining. In fact, quite the opposite. "We love the road, man!" an enthusiastic Shawn tells us. "I mean, we love traveling and going out on stage and getting a good reception from people. It's just great!"
All this doesn't mean that Shawn, Nathan, Wanya, and Michael won't get a little homesick for Philly while they're out seeing the world.
"I think that we are going to miss home and our families and home-cooked meals," sighs Nathan. "But as long as our fans are getting into it, we will stay out there and keep having fun."
