Motown's mighty men have come along way in a short time,
and it's thanks to their own talents of their very special
mentor, Michael Bivins! Take a private listen to what Boyz II Men
really think about Biv....and each other!
Michael McCary, Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris, and Shawn
Stockman thrill the world collectively as Boyz II Men, and while
every fan knows the magical tale of how they bluffed their
way backstage at a concert and treated Biv to an impromptu
concert of their own (winning him over right there on the
spot!), there's much more to know! (And Boyz II Men are just the
ones to tattle on each other and on the man who's made it
his "Biv-ness" to make this quartet the hottest young stars
in the biz!)
Wanya on Shawn:
"Well, he tends to be pretty quiet...you know , kind of
inside a shell. But he's really been opening up now. And
he's really fun to be with! He pulls a lot of funny
stuff - you wouldn't believe it!"
Nate on Wanya:
"It's hard to take him seroiously at first, 'cause he's
always playin' around so much! But when you take the time
to listen, you know he is serious and has a lot of really
good ideas. I always say he's the little boy who cried
wolf!"
Michael on Nate:
"We basically think of him as a leader; he always seems to
know what he's doing. Mostly, he's pretty positive, but he
can also be real moody and tempermental."
Shawn on Michael:
"He's absolutely one of the nicest guys I've ever known,
and he's incredibly friendly to everyone! You know-he
usually hugs people when he meets them. He doesn't talk
about himself very much, but you can tell he's pretty sure
of himself. Plus, he can talk you into anything!"
Shawn on Biv:
"He's the kind of person definetly can learn a lot from!
He's a great friend, he's...a buddy"!
Nate on Biv:
"He understands, because he's been there himself. He's an
artist, too, and he understands the creative process.
That's very important."
Wanya on Biv:
"He's like a guide, pulling us along!"
Michael on Biv:
"We are always thankful to God...and to Michael
Bivins!"
Biv on Boyz II Men:
"As soon as they started blowin', I knew they had
something! It was just a matter of getting them into the
recording studio, you know! They're like Take 6...only
funkier. These guys can do anything! They're not limited
to anyone style, and that's what makes them so bad!"
