A movie about true love even if both party's have an age difference.

An intelligent romantic movie about a man's struggle with love. Definately for the sensitive guy.

A visual masterpiece: autumn in New York hasn't looked this beautiful on film for a long time and in a good directing style from Chen and Cinematography from Changwei Gu.

The story goes like this. Richard Gere plays a restaurant owner and helps with the chefs on food. He also is a womanizer, he hangs around the lady's like a shoplifter to mink coats (I don't think that's a good analogy but trying to be funny) He then meets an old friend and finds her grand-daughter irresistable (Winona Ryder at her cutest) He starts to slowly hit on her. His buddy thinks its a bad idea to fall in love with some one who is way younger than Gere. And he doesn't like how Richard gets these women. Will (Gere) and Charlotte (Ryder) talk about their age difference through out this movie but they both love each other to know that doesn't matter. Also Charlotte has an illness that is ill-fated and she might not be alive for along time. So they go with the romance as a way to have fun together before she goes. She jokes about it but through this illness of hers, Will gets more in love then he has with other women.

A famous line. Will: "You ruined me for the other women" Charlotte: "I saved you for them." a very sweet exchange.

10/10 A very good film to bad it wasn't reviewed before its release could have made it a hit. a definate movie rental when out on video release. 98%/100% For some blurryness in the park in autumn but not very much. 1
