What isn't shown scares you in this excellent movie
The Sundance Film Festival winner now a major motion picture.
The movie claimed to be the actual footage of three student filmmakers making a documentary on the folklore of the Blair Witch. Just the word 'actual' makes it more realistic. This movie from the minds of Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sanchez just does that makes you believe that the story is true and if it was would make you scared as well. Using Camcorder and 16mm film the three filmmakers Donahue, Williams and Leonard ask locals of Burkitsville if they've heard of the blair witch. One local knows too much, Donahue believes that person was crazy little does she know that the local may be right. They go out to the woods with their camping stuff on their backs. Through some mishaps they get lost and get angry at each other, but during the night something doesn't want them to find something or wants to kill them. slowly their organized plan soon goes haywire as the "Noises" begin their assault. Chilling realism of scariness and fear. The use of seeing nothing is used as the big fright (like 'Halloween' what you don't see scares you) The last minutes are the scariest I've ever seen.
10/10 using a captivating story using lines that are improvised by the 3 filmmakers and amazing camera work to show off fear and scariness of the woods.
100% the two cameras are intertwined with each other. film shown in a box due to the cameras used.
