The Movie about famously criticized comedian Andy Kaufman is a captivating look at his life and work.

Only Jim Carrey can impersonate Andy Kaufman in this excellent movie.

This movie is more of a look at his life and work as himself and the lounge singer from hell, Tony Clifton. It contains some of his greatest works, Mighty Mouse, his stunt on Friday's, and his Christmas performance where he sent the audience for milk and cookies. While his other works, wrestling women and Jerry Lawler, were considered very odd.

But what this movie adds to it is a sympathetic look at one of the youngest people who have died of Lung cancer. It is a blow to him when he finds out he has the rare case of lung cancer that effects non-smokers. after being taken off SNL "Saturday Night Live" was Kaufman's downfall into deppression. Jim Carrey does an exceptionally good job of portraying the comedian. If you take a look at Kaufman and Carrey, they look alike. Even Carrey gets the Latka character down. This should get him the Oscar he is waiting for. Still a Charming and Sympathetic movie.10/10 for excellent acting and cameos. 100% for the great use of camera's showing off the sets of Friday's,SNL and Taxi.

Update: Jim Carrey didn't get nominated for this movie.
