From the Dark Horse Collection of Alternative Comic Book Heroes, comes the Movie "Mystery Men" based on the comic book series with the same name.

The movie that lets you laugh but also lets you enjoy really good cinematography of fight sequences.

As this movie starts out Captain Amazing (Kinnear) is the main superhero of champion city. on his costume is several sponsorships he has with companies. But one thing is on his mind, he's bored. All the good bad guys are in the insane asylum. In order to get his appeal back he decides to let the worst bad guy leave the asylum which happens to be Casanova Frankenstien (Rush) who has plans for Amazing. But there are other superheroes in champion city but one thing wrong.... Their amateurs. The Shoveller (Macy) Mr. Furious (Stiller) and the Blue Raja (Azaria) want to save Amazing from Frankenstien's clutches. They set up a superhero meet to pick more team members besides getting The Spleen and Invisible Boy (Rubens as Spleen, Mitchell as Invisible Boy) before the meet. Through try outs of such superheroes as PMS Avenger (to name one of the funny ones) but they decide on The Bowler (Garofalo)(Special attacks left out). They go on their way to save Captain Amazing from Cassanova Frankenstien with the help of the Sphinx (Studi).

10/10 for excellent characters with their cool abilities as well as excellent fight sequences. and hilarious superhero jokes.

100%/100% for excellent camera work especially in the fight sequences. 1
