A tale of survival on the red planet

A very interesting movie with cool special effects

The next good installment in the Space Movie Genre

A team of astronauts are sent to mars after robots have been sent to see if mankind can live on Mars. The leader of the group is Commander Kate Bowman (Moss in her first film after the Hit "The Matrix"). They are on Mars-1 an orbital ship. One of the cargo is a robot AI named "AMEE". After a run in with solar flares the team lands on Mars to find their habitat destroyed, but the weird thing is... Not going to tell you, one of the most suspenseful parts. The team finds out that AMEE is on Predator mode and is going to strategically kill them off, one by one, can the astronauts find away to shut her down and find a way back home...

A really intelligent space movie, Most of AMEE is Computer Generated but is done very well. Carrie-Anne Moss gives another spectacular performance of a smart woman in charge. Val Kilmer still has his charm as an astronaut that knows Russian. It was a very suspenseful film with an amazing set, and cool video display screens. A little predictable with the AMEE Robot going bezerk. 10/10 for excellent story and characters you get to know before the movie ends. 100%/100% Everythings good technical, Sets look amazing, planet Mars would be proud of the recreation. 1
