A fast paced story about a big diamond, boxing promoters, dumb crooks, and an irish gypsy speaking in an missunderstood accent.

Don't forget about the dog.

Guy Richie's next film since "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels." is an interesting story with more comedy than Richie's first film.

A diamond is found by Frankie Four Fingers (Del Toro) after breaking in and shooting people. who calls in his New York associate Uncle Avi (Farina), about the big diamond, but through some misshaps the diamond is still in London so Avi comes over to find out about where it is. Meanwhile a London boxing promoter named Turkish, is trying to find a boxer to replace a pre-arranged boxer at the last minute. Turkish finds the replacement boxer, in Mickey O'Neil (Pitt) an irish gypsy with a thick accent that no one except his gypsy family can understand. Mickey has a powerful one two punch. Then come the dumb crooks, three actually and they're African-europeans who try to steal money from the bookie of the fight between Mickey and the other boxer. All these characters are interchangeable in the story. The crooks actually get to meet a few of the other characters in the proccess.

The movie is very fast moving. So keep a good eye out for familiar characters. Richie has yet again shown his directing talent, Snatch has the visual look of an avante guarde flashy commercial with spining images and small vignette of Vegas with "Viva Las Vegas" playing. Charcters with their names on the screen in Western style motiff. The opening credits are amazing. Snatch is a very flashy film, it does contain some very violent scenes but one scene was shown with humor, a character who lives after being shot gets shot more until finally dead(luckily off camera) which is pure silliness.

10/10 For interesting story with very unusual characters and Brad Pitt's Accent. 100%/100% Flashy in style gritty realism, with a camera set to detail. 1
