Prince Charles- William adores his father very much and now that his mother is gone, William and Charles will grow so much closer. William is said to be more comfortable with his father than anyone else- for the reason of, photographers. When Wills is with his father he is photographed much less than when he is with his mum. William also very much enjoys being with his dad at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. William is said to keep his emotions inside like Prince Charles and is also tall like both of his parents. Prince William is said to get his love for the outdoors, fishing and fast cars from Charles. Prince Charles has been said not to be a good parent and not as fun loving as Diana- but many times he has proven that wrong. A few years back Charles let William drive a Land Rover on the Balmoral Estate at an estimated 75 m.p.h at some points. Many claim Charles has trouble showing his feelings because of his childhood- feelings wenent allowed to be showed in public and one famous picture that details this is when Charles is four and after not seeing his mother for a few months she stepped off a plane to shake his hand and straighten his collar.
Princess Diana- The person that William loved, adored, admired, and all around cared about the most was his mother- Diana, Princess of Wales. When Di was watching her marriage fall apart she said that they only joy she got in life was playing with baby Wills. Wills adored his mother so much that words cant tell it. One night Diana locked herself in a palace bathroom and cried over her failing marriage- William shoved tissues under the door for her and a not that read, "Please don't cry. I hate to see you sad." At age nine William called his mothers favorite restaraunt and made reservations for the two of them. Diana was very shy and hated get ther picture taken all the time- Wills has the same hatred. They both walk with their heads down near photographers- which is pretty much a sign of "leave me alone." But when they didnt mind getting their pictures taken, both had their heads up and were smiling. Prince William gets his natural good looks and sense of style from the most fashionable woman in the world- his mother. His mother took time out to be with William and his younger brother- William was even the first royal baby to go on tours with his parents on order of his mother. Diana usually let most fights with the royal family go instead of fight them all the way- but she never quit fighting when it came to her boys. Diana took William and Harry to homeless shelters and out with her on travels to people who were less fortunate. Will learned to love and learn what others love through his mothers teachings and he shared tons of the same interests with his mother- including tennis, famous stars, music, and people. Diana taught William what life was like when your not royal- by taking him to McDonald's and to theme parks. Princess Diana showed Prince William what life was really about- love- and we can only hope that he will carry what she taught him forever.
Prince Harry- His only sibling and probably his best friend is William's younger brother, Prince "Harry" Henry. Harry was born two years after William and unlike most children, William showed no signs of jelousy when Harry entered the world. The day Henry was born Prince Charles brought 2 year old William to hospital so the two could meet- at first sight Prince Wills busted out into laughter at the baby. As they grew up William and Harry only had each other to cling to as they watched their parents marriage fall apart more and more each day. Both were there to comfort their mother durring the divorce and both were their to protect public attacks on their father. As a child Wills was (and still is) very protective of his younger brother. William would threaten anyone that would pick on younger Harry and would often teach the young boy from right and wrong. Once after boarding a BMW with their mother, Harry stuck his tounge out at photographers only for Diana to pull him back and William to say, "Now, Harry, that was very naughty." Henry is supposedly the complete opposite of Prince Willaim. Prince Harry is out going, not shy, and doesnt mind the cameras there all the time. Some have said that Henry would make a better King than William- but only time can tell that and they are both still kids.
Tiggy Legge-Bourke- Alexandria "Tiggy" Legge-Bourke was brought in when William and Harry were young kids. Tiggy was mostly around when Diana wasn't to take care of the boys. She accompanied them to Balmoral Castle and times when Diana had to be away from them. Tiggy, William, and Harry are reportedly very- very close and Tiggy was released from duty a few years ago because Diana found her as competition for the boys love. Princess Diana also thought that the boys and Tiggy were growing to close and Di and Tiggy had a few blow-ups among each other about the two princes- Diana usually won because she is their mother. William opens up to Tiggy more so than he does other people and shes said to be able to "laugh him out of a bad mood." Right after hearing of Diana's death- Prince Charles immedialy called up Tiggy to come be by the boys sides. She came with no questions and the boys cried on her for days. Tiggy will probably be around more in William's life now that his mother is gone and will always need a mother like figure to look up to- Tiggy will more than likely be that person.
Peter Phillips and Zara Phillips- Prince William is very close to his family- especially some of his cousins. Peter Phillips is Princess Anne's son and he is just a few years older than Wills. Next to Wills, Peter is considered to be the next best looking royal and is nearly as popular as Wills. Peter and William are often seen together at church and family events along with Peter's sister Zara, who is closer to William's age. Phillips is very active in sports such as rugby and polo and shares the same love for sports with his cousin. Recently at Queen Elizabeth's and Prince Philip's Golden Anniversary Zara was seen giving Wills a friendly chin tickle after he accepted flowers from a fan.
Queen Elizabeth- Most grandchildren are close to their grandparents, but Prince William and the Queen have a bond most don't share- some day he will have her job. Becoming a part of history is hard enough, but to rule his country successfully he must learn mistakes and the right way to do things that were done in the past. With Princess Diana's death Wills will need a mother figure and he may look towards his grandmother for it. Elizabeth has much say so in the lives of William and Harry and chooses to help raise them in the way she sees fit- as Windsors. Every Sunday William visits his grandmother for tea and occationally gets a history lesson from her.
