Shannon Stats
Shannon Lee Miller was born March 10, 1977 in Rolla, Missouri.
She has won 7 Olympic medals (2 Gold, 2 Silver & 3 Bronze), 9 World Championship
medals, and numerous others. She is the most decorated American gymnast (male OR female) in U.S. history.
Shannon is also a humanitarian. She is a spokeswomen for the CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK, The Red Ribbon Campaign, which is an anti-drug program, and The Make A Wish Foundation. She is currently competing in professional competitions. She has won both '97 and '98 Resse's Cups, with teammate Amy Chow. She is currecntly taking ice skating lessons "just for fun" and working on some new gymnastics skills. All this while attendind the University of Oklahoma and making various appearances.
