INSPIRATIONAL THEATRE

While theatre is a related medium to television and film, it's truly a whole different form of art. Though set changes are possible to a degree, generally theatre must keep the audience's interest going while locked in a specific space and at a specific distance. There are no cutaways for emotional close-ups or the ability to jump locations at an instant. Good theatre is truly an art. Here are the plays I find most inspiring, from the classic Greek through Shakespeare and up to modern times...

Euripides, Lorraine Hansberry, David Henry Hwang, Arthur Miller, William Shakespeare, Sophocles, Tennesee Williams

LORRAINE HANSBERRY
