La Blue Girl

Oh brother...

For his Christmas present to me, Daikaiju Hubbard cleaned out his closets and gave me a shoe box full of found objects that he had lying about the house. Among these items salvaged from being garage sale fodder was a video -entitled La Blue Girl- that he urged me to review on the page. The question is how can I review this tape and still keep it within the guidelines that Geocities have established?

The tape comes inside a cardboard container that has an opening on the bottom that allows the tape to be removed from the container with ease. The cardboard is decorated with colorful pictures and descriptions of what is on the tape. The tape itself is a standard VHS tape with a sturdy plastic covering that protects the magnetic tape inside. The plastic covering even comes with two clear plastic windows that allow you, at a glance, to see how much of the tape has been played. When correctly inserted into a VCR the video cassette should play, allowing you to watch the show encoded onto the tape. The tape itself is a cartoon produced in Japan that doesn't seem to be designed with the younger age demographic in mind. It features characters doing various things to and with other characters and the whole thing unspools at about 35 minutes. Since my summary of the movie is so vague, I'll make sure my review is as well. La Blue Girl is... sticky.

Questions? Comments? Really odd movies you want to give me as a gift? Drop me a line at gleep9@hotmail.com. If you're done here, ooze on back to either the Second Movie or Main page.
