Children of the Corn 6- the Return of Isaac. this was a real treat since the first movie. Remeber the little preacher kid who was on the corn cross. Well, it turns out he didnt die, he has been in a mental hospital in a coma for 19 years. And he has a son, who will breed the next generation of children. It was great to see the old isaac again, but he still lacks any backbone and is taken out fairly easy at the end. The movie sucks in general, but i thought this was one to see just to see how they would bring him back. The kid who played Isaac in the first is back and he even cowrote the script. Except for being Chucky in the first Child's Play movie and Cousin It in Addams Family, the poor guy has not had a great career since the first one. I dont know if he thought this move would elevate him, but the writing lacks the certain charm of the first. I give this a USA Up All Night, nothing else on, in the mood for laugh, can't reach the remote rating. The only plus is the girl is good looking. Stay tuned for more movie reviews in futher months.
