Little Mariah was the first born
She was spoiled to the core
But when little brother was born
The attention she was used to getting was no more
When mom and dad weren't watching
She would punch little brother til he was sore

Poor little brother always seemed so sick
One day he had to be taken to the doctor
who noticed real quick
that little brother had bruises
that were black and blue
He thought the mom and dad had abused him
reported them as was required to do
But during the investigation
little Mariah had boasted
that at her brother she was mad
She said she punched and kicked him
because she thought he was bad

The doctor soon discovered
that brother's intestines were weak
Little did anyone know that
kicks to his stomach, Mariah would sneak

One day little brother stopped breathing
To the hospital he was rushed
No one noticed Mariah had kicked him again
And now he's permanently hushed
Mariah asked mommy and daddy
if it was her fault brother had died
All they could do was comfort her
while they silently cried.
