ECHOES IN THE WIND

Echoes in the wind
of voices from the past
asking us to remember them
ensure their memories last

They urge us to learn from their mistakes
and hope their voices we don't forsake

Voices echoing, loudly
that we must learn to care
for our environment
our air

We must learn to protect our earth
and everything within
An urgent cry
from these echoes in the wind


These voices ask us not to forget
and to make sure we live our lives without regret

Echoes in the wind
of voices from the "other side"
We can't escape them
nor can we hide
