Driving along the highway of life
To destination unknown
With just the clothes on my back
And my cellular phone

Reflecting on the sky above
Its color so bright blue
But I'm feeling black inside
Because of you

The highway of life once seemed paved with gold
When I had you to love and hold
But ever since you walked away
The highway of life seems awfully gray

Driving along with turmoil in my heart
Unable to get over the fact we're apart
I'm trying to get over this pain inside
And get over the love you now deny

I'm on the highway of life
Just moving forward on
Not seeing the flowers
Not hearing a song

Although the sun is shining so bright
Within my heart, there is no light
As I feel the terrible pain
My tears are pouring like rain

I'm on the highway of life
Leading to I don't know where
I'm just going, going....
I don't care
