The Essence of Evil
When Joey and Toby ditch school on a warm October morning, they uncover a statue that will change their lives forever, in this story of demonic possession and the supernatural. The boys exhume a box which contains an ancient statue. They don't heed the warnings of a mysterious stranger - return the statue to its burial place on the banks of Hunter's Pond, or suffer the deadly consequences.
When Joey's brother Josh and his friends learn of the discovery, they decide to stage a seance in an abandoned house to scare their girlfriends. What starts out as a Halloween pranks turns into a deadly encounter with the unknown forces of evil.
