What did we do to deserve this awful movie? Bean (Rowan Atkinson) is a worthless security guard at a British art museum. A rich American arragnes to buy the painting, Whistler's Mother from the gallery. In order to rid themselves from the pain in the ass that is Bean the board of directors sends him along with the painting. Upon arriving in America Bean is mistakenly thought to be a distinguished art professor. There are some funny parts of the movie, like the turkey wrestling and the breaking and entering scenes. Another is when Bean is giving eveyone the finger. The biggest problem with the movie is it's too long, there are about 20 minutes of humor in a 90 minute movie. It is a rather unpleasant wait for the funny parts. Bean is a poorly done comedy that should have been banned from being imported.
