The movie starts off bad, a painfully long song and dance number occupies the screen during the opening credits. Roberts does a good job of playing the villain and comes up with some truely evil methods of breaking up the wedding. Mulroney, the best friend, basically stands around and smiles a lot. Diaz does an adequate job as the bride. The only real comedic monents come from Rupert Everett's character George, a gay Englishman. For the guys there is a baseball game used as the setting for one scene but it does not help. I did not know this movie was a musical, every 15 minutes someone breaks into song. Highly predictable movie with few bright spots. Women will love it. Guys do not get suckered into going to this one.
