Nick Beame, Tim Robins, is a busy executive who catches his wife in the sack with his boss. He proceedes to drive around LA in a comatosed state, until confronted by a car-jacker, Martin Lawrence. Beame flips out and the pair end up in Arizona where they contrive a master plan for their big score. Beame's so distraught he takes up a life of crime. There are a lot of funny scenes but the constant banter between Robins and Lawrence gets stale. A lot of the humor was sapped from the scenes after being the trailers which have been in theatres forever. Robins and Lawrence had the only preformances of note and they were marginal at best. Why do they keep putting messages in comedies, every other scene we are told that Blacks cannot get a break in corporate America. While this is an important subject, I do not want it in my comedy movies, that is what they make dramas for. O.K. I'm off my soapbox, this is a well done and amusing movie that will make you laugh.
