How many women can one man juggle? If you are a player like Bill Bellamy's character Dray, the answer is quite a few. The movie follows Dray on his daily escapades as he sleeps his way around L.A. Along for the rides are Dray's nonplayer buddies, who have to wait in the car while he makes his rounds. The scene at Dray's Mom's house was extremely funny. One Uncle is drunk and manning the BBQ while making fun of everyone in earshot. The other Uncle, Fred, is giving his player lecture to Dray and his crew. Be sure to listen to Uncle Fred, he is a very wise man and is described as being "just like a pimped-out Yoda." Comedy at it's finest, no but it is funny none the less. Bellamy gives an average performance. Most of the comedy comes from Dray's buddies. Jermaine Hopkins, Kilo, and A.J. Johnson, Spootie, who are constantly throwing out one liners. Other sources of amusement are Bernie Mac, Buster, who catches Bellamy with his wife, and Gilbert Gottfried who plays the concierge at Dray's building. This is an exceedingly funny movie, remember that and don't be offended by the way it portrays women, this is not a documentry. This is not a cerebral movie but it is humorous.
